Google just realized their end of year top searched and Anita has ranked 7th on the “Most Searched Fashion Designer” list. The year 2016 has been one consisting of various landmarks in Indian designer Anita Dongre’s career. She is on the top 10 list of the most googled fashion designers in the World!! And we totally know why. 

It began with a bang as Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wore one of her dresses during her visit to India. 

A favourite among Bollywood’s leading ladies, celebrity designer Dongre told that she was “thrilled" to see the Duchess, formerly Kate Middleton, in the Mughal-inspired coral pink-and-aqua printed dress from Dongre’s spring/summer collection. 

She teamed the dress with comfortable taupe wedges and chandelier earrings. "There was something special when she wore the dress. She carried it off beautifully. 

However, Anita Dongre said that she was "surprised" to see Kate wearing one of her creations on the first day of her India trip. Anita Dongre ‘privileged to be the first Indian designer’ to dress Duchess of Cambridge on royal visit.
