Once again at Lakme Fashion Week, 2018 beautiful Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon brought the scintillating show to an end as she glided down the catwalk wearing a spectacular nude tulle lehenga, choli and draped dupatta that glittered with the constellation of multi-colored stars.

Tahiliani brought the romance and fantasy of florals and the cosmic stars along with an ethereal flavor of his signature, layered and weightless fashion for his “Tarakini” Spring/Summer 2018 collection.

She and her sister are here for the clothes – to dress more than 70% Indian women who struggle to find the right fit. At Lakme Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2018, the curvy brand opened to a full house. 

Bodacious models, as young as 19 and as old as 80, took to the ramp.  There were no floating dresses or anti-fits. Even the self-effacing black shift – an ASOS favorite – was given a rest. 

Instead, the color was introduced in the form of pastel asymmetrical dresses and feminine embroideries.

The silhouettes played to every curvy woman’s right to look sexy. Shoulder-baring outfits advocated that, as did flattering dhoti-style pants and cowl kurtas.  

For too long, fashion has royally ignored the gaping need of the plus-size segment.

Lakme Fashion Week 2018 Day 1 - Bollywood's glamorous girl Taapsee Pannu walks the ramp for Label Ritu Kumar and steals the show. Actress Taapsee Pannu looked amazing as she walked the ramp for label Ritu Kumar at the Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW) Summer/Resort 2018. The designer collection was titled as Hip Hop Baroque. 

The collection introduced new-age textiles like Lurex georgette, shimmer jersey, and handloom sequins. 

Taapsee walked the ramp with aplomb. It goes without saying that she is a style diva and this time also she gave many fashion goals to her fans.

CEO Amrish Kumar stated that Taapsee was perfect to become the showstopper of the collection and they were extremely excited to have her.

The actress is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Dil Junglee, which is all set to hit the screens on February 16.

There were colors and prints mixed in vibrant hues and patterns and there were 90’s DIY punk directions that will appeal to the young swinging dressers.

The inspiration was the urban mermaid with blue eyeshadow, while the eyelashes had a dewy look. Defined eyebrows and a pop of color on the eyes created using the Lakmé Absolute Nude Eyeshadow palette, was the highlight of the look.
