Janhvi Kapoor was in attendance for the trailer launch of her debut film, ‘Dhadak’ at an event held in Mumbai earlier today. The costumes of the film have been done by Manish Malhotra, so it came as no surprise that she decided to wear one of his designs.

Her Parrot Green Anarkali with hints of pink was styled with soft curls, jhumkis, and understated makeup.

I have a feeling that the look was inspired by her character in the film. However, it feels dated, uninspired and boring.

The upcoming love story stars Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor‘s brother Ishaan Khatter. 

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Dhadak is Hindi adaptation of Marathi blockbuster, Sairat. The film is slated to release on July 20, 2018.
