Kareena Kapoor turned into the golden girl dressed in a Falguni Shane Peacock design. Kareena was the showstopper for fashion designers Falguni and Shane Peacock on day two of the India Couture Week 2018 that’s currently on in Delhi.

The Jab We Met actor walked the ramp in a shimmering golden lehenga with oodles of crystal work, matched with a full-sleeve choli and a see-through dupatta. The India Couture Week is on till 29th of July. The designers' ensembles were teamed up with jewels by Prakshi Fine Jewellery.

The Veerey Di Wedding actress stepped on the ramp with poise despite the 30 kg lehenga, keeping her jewelry minimalistic with just earrings, and letting the bespoke outfit with a Parisian vibe grab the limelight.

As she leaned against the cut-out of a crescent, Kareena lent a dreamy aura.

The wedding, which was spread over multiple days, included a small Mehendi function, followed by a bigger soirée for her friends, family, and peers from Bollywood at Sunteck, Signature Island, at Bandra Kurla Complex.

For the Mehendi party, the couple was joined by Karan Johar, Masaba Gupta, Pernia Qureshi, Pooja Dhingra, Arpita Mehta, Samyukta Nair, Kunal Rawal, Sandeep Khosla, Karan Boolani, Tanya Ghavri, and cousins Arjun and Anshula Kapoor, Mohit Marwah, Shanaya Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor, among others. 

Karisma Kapoor and Varun Dhavan were spotted busting dance moves at the event, while father of the bride Anil Kapoor took over the dance floor as the evening progressed. Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez and Swara Bhasker joined in the festivities too.

The dress code for the evening was white. Sonam K Ahuja wore an ivory lehenga, custom made by couturiers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Her jewellery was created by mother and jeweller Sunita Kapoor and Amrapali jewels. Since the star’s own mehandi had been applied the day before, she had the traditional chuda and kalira ceremonies that evening.

Nita and Mukesh Ambani held a star-studded engagement party for their son Akash and Shloka Mehta. Dressed in a sparkling golden lehenga, Alia Bhatt made a solo entry at the function. 

Her highly embellished lehenga featured a deep-necked blouse and complementing skirt. Her half-sleeved blouse and skirt were elaborately sequined. 

She wore minimal accessories and only accentuated her look with heavy gold earrings. Her wavy tresses were middle-parted and left loose. Alia's makeup was minimally done and complemented her stylish avatar. 

Famous TV serial Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla who got married in Shimla on June 21. Rubina looked like a cream-colored pink lingerie and an innovative light blue-colored sherwani.
