Recently Deepika Padukone attended the closing ceremony of the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival wearing a white ruffled top and black pant skirt from Gauri and Nainika. Deepika Padukone gave us a major lesson on how to make a dramatic statement at an evening affair. 

The colour palette may sound simple, but a closer look revealed soft ruffles along the plunging neckline of her silk top, and a belted skirt + trousers hybrid below.  

With the silhouette featuring ruffles near the neckline, a belted waist, and a dramatic skirt-like train around the trousers, naturally, Padukone’s choice of accessories was minimal.

She wore nothing but a pair of delicate diamond earrings with her ensemble, and black Christian Louboutin pumps that featured a touch of embellishment.

As for her hair and makeup, Padukone sported her go-to messy bun updo with intense glossy black shadow paired with a nude powder pink lips on smoky eyes.
